Eliot Cardinaux

  • Absent of Genus

    A compersion of blue flowers
titled All of Us or Discipline

    of the Disabled. Unsayable
    tumult in the speaking of

    names. The unexplained
    course this music takes through

    The Valley of Uncharted Waters.
    That the Flooded Plateau aspires

to reach at its diurnal apex.
    What grows there, no one

can see, like city rains. Awaited
    lovers separate into number

    Surfaces grow old
    at The Gate of Registry.
